We want to live in the best cities in the world: places and communities that make us better every day. There are many reasons new cities fail. Whatever they are, we build exponentially better.

Each city project gathers residents around a specific intention, because a founder’s intention for a new city shapes its success.
We are planning a new town built to enable the highest human need: self-actualisation, for all its residents. A town for those who want to become the next best version of themselves. Would you live there?

Dear Future Residents,
I wanted to live with the most ambitious, hungry, intelligent people. I started looking at SF & NYC and understood that immigration would be a headache even with my French passport, that taxation was ridiculous, and let’s not mention the criminality. London’s weather is depressing, and Dubai did not win me.
If I can’t live with the best, may as well live in a truly beautiful city, in the classical sense. Wait, Europe? The absurdity of bureaucracy and taxation? No way.
I then discovered a glorious solution: Portugal. Sunshine, quality of life, a community of entrepreneurs from everywhere gathered in Lisbon, beautiful architecture, and 10 years without taxes on most foreign income, dividends, interest, rental revenue… Weeks later, back in 2024, they killed that tax programme.
Where’s a man supposed to go when he has geographic freedom, wants quality of life, a highly intelligent community, a gorgeous place to live in, without unreasonable taxation?
I just could not find it. So I started making my own.
There are new zones of progress coming up. Remember Hong Kong? It started as an enclave that operated on a different system, which proved very successful: low tax, business friendly, smart entrepreneurs flocked in, followed by global companies. The model is evolving and seeding in new locations, notably on a Caribbean island. These zones of progress offer high quality of life, security, a tropical climate and low taxation.
I created One City Foundry to partner with these zones. We build the physical layer above the zone’s governance: beautiful new traditional urbanism and new classical architecture. And a community layer: a population of global citizens who want to live among their peers, and to live a life driven by personal growth.
